PROJECT: Fort Myers Country Club Bridges
LOCATION: Fort Myers, Florida
ROLE: Bridge Architect
ENGINEER: HighSpans Engineering
YEAR: 04/2020 - Present
The popular country club needed to replace three of its 20’ golf course bridges for golf carts and pedestrians. Safety and appearance was of the top priority. The city wanted to replace them with aesthetics in mind but their budget was very limited. Apexx Architecture was hired as the bridge architect on the project to provide the aesthetics for the project. Maxim created a unique design for the railings of the bridges that added a touch of classical elegance with a modern appeal that fits well with the golf course’s existing Floridian style.
