PROJECT: Long Island Sound Bridge Concept

The Long Island Sound bridge was a direct response to a desire to build a new bridge to alleviate traffic and travel time for residents of Nassau County. We developed renderings to give the people an opportunity to see what a bridge of that scale would look like. The bridge has a very simple form but exudes its presence with monolithic towers and piers. The new bridge would be 9km-19km long and could alleviate congested traffic for New York commuters.
